Fern Jack Charity was established in the winter of 2019 after three district pantries closed unexpectedly. Rather than waiting for regional grants, our volunteer core gathered donations across sixteen residential blocks and rented a small dry-storage unit on Maple Avenue.
Every kilogram of food and winter fleece is logged in hand-kept records available for district inspection. We refuse means testing or invasive intake procedures, choosing instead to deliver discrete packages directly to households experiencing acute hardship.
Charity is not an act of pity from above; it is neighbors making sure everyone on the block eats well and stays warm.

Doorstep delivery
Referrals arrive through local school liaisons, clinic nurses, and street coordinators who note exact household shortages without burdensome paperwork.
Supplies are purchased wholesale from regional bakeries and independent grocers to support neighborhood merchants while stocking nutrient-dense staples.
Volunteer drivers drop unmarked crates during evening hours, ensuring family privacy and immediate relief at the front door.
Join our Thursday morning sorting shifts at the Maple Avenue hub. Two hours of your time turns wholesale deliveries into sixty ready doorstep parcels.
